Hello!

My name is Julia, I was born in Poznan at 3:13 a.m. on September 27th, 2011. I weighed 6.04lbs and I was 1'6'' tall. Two days after I was born, doctors took a sample of blood from my heel and sent it away for a medical examination.

Unfortunately, two months later we received a letter from the laboratory that there was a possibility that I had a genetic illness - Cystic Fibrosis. My parents could not believe it - they hoped it was a mistake.

After difficult and very stressful time for me and my parents, the examinations confirmed the illness.

All of a sudden our lives changed forever... My parents were driven to dispair, they could not accept that I had an incurable illness.

Now we are fighting to soften the effects of the illness by taking medicines and rehabilitation. My parents are doing everything so that I might have a happy childhood - despite my illness.
